This innovative program aims to address the needs of dental practitioners at enhancing their knowledge and clinical skills in Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry and creating a platform of aesthetic dentists who will be able to achieve excellence in aesthetic dentistry, thus improving the dental services.
This comprehensive program comprises didactic components that consist of lectures, group discussions/case studies with clinical evidence-based, practical and clinical sessions to incorporate aesthetic elements into their daily dental practice that focus on the aesthetic value, using the latest techniques and methods to allow participants to gain experience and optimize their knowledge in addressing the more challenging cases of Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry.
Upon successful completion of the program, participants will be able to:
PLO1. Acquire the didactic knowledge and clinical skills of the principles of Aesthetics in dental practice.
PLO2. Demonstrate competencies and skills in carrying out challenging clinical cases.
PLO3. Initiate and complete a smile analysis to obtain the best aesthetic result.
PLO4. Ability to apply functional anatomy to the field of clinical dental aesthetics.
PLO5. Formulate a sound treatment plan and evaluate the aesthetic result of the treatment upon completion.
The lectures, case based discussions/clinical case studies, clinical simulations and clinical practice will highlight the importance of Aesthetics in daily dental practice, focusing on the challenges dental practitioners face, and providing sound solutions to overcome the difficulties encountered by participants.
Clinical case studies will be shared by participants throughout the duration of the program to discuss their own clinical experience; such approach will ensure that the learning outcomes are met.
Beyond the didactic components of the program, participants will be exposed to practical sessions / hands on and clinical sessions on Aesthetic continuum to prepare different types of Aesthetic and Prosthetic restorations.
All lectures, clinical simulations and clinical sessions are assessed on a regular basis to ensure the level of didactic and clinical competencies, with emphasize on clinical case analysis.
The last module of the program (module 8) will consist of written assessment as well as clinical case presentations and discussion before an international jury.
Dental Photography & Digital Smile DesignConsidering the evolution of the dental practice towards digital dentistry, it is important to consider the use of digital photography for documentation and referral purposes.
Digital Smile Design is a comprehensive, interdisciplinary approach towards aesthetic improvement; participants will acquire the aesthetic principles and knowledge of smile design.
Aesthetic Direct RestorationsThroughout this module, participants will discover the novel of the Aesthetic Direct Restorations and the real beauty of minimally invasive aesthetic restorations (e.g., Direct Composite Veneers & Diastema Closing).
Implants Placement
Soft Tissue Management
Management of RCT Teeth
Inlays & Onlays
This comprehensive module will address implants placement in the aesthetic zone, soft tissue management and the management of root canal treated teeth as well as Inlays & Onlays.
Participants will be provided with the principles of implants placement in the Aesthetic zone with a step-by-step implant placement will be developed in a systematic approach, in addition to the concepts of soft tissue management to ensure long term successful results within the surrounding soft tissues to avoid any future complications.
Endo Aesthetics, management of coronally salvaged teeth, Endocrowns as a new crown alternative for RCT teeth and techniques for custom made posts and cores preparations, cementation as well as selecting the most suitable treatment option in addition to the principles of Inlays & Inlays preparations.
Practical sessions (hands on) will cover all aspects of the module.
Ceramic Veneers I
This module will provide a systematic and comprehensive approach from veneer preparations to a successful veneer delivery, thus, achieving a natural look aesthetic veneer result.
This lecture presents the new trends of modern aesthetic dentistry from routine basic treatments, such as bleaching to the most advanced and technology based Aesthetic treatments, with an introduction to the new ceramic materials, ceramic veneers, training on treating discolored teeth, treating mal-aligned teeth, and how to match veneers to crowns prep-less veneers and CAD-CAM systems.
Ceramic Veneers IIThis clinical simulation module will provide participants with the opportunity to enhance their clinical skills on Ceramic veneers preparations.
Full Mouth Rehabilitation & Occlusion AnalysisThis module will expose participants to most challenging dental practice that is full mouth rehabilitation with focus on face bow utilization and occlusion analysis.
Clinical PracticeParticipants will have a clinical practice session with a marking system to assess the outcomes of the program.

Upon successful completion of all program’s assessments and requirements, participants will be awarded the Diploma in Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry by the Elite Academy / The Elite Healthcare Training Institute and the American Academy of Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry.
Note: It is important to note that the Professional Diploma in Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry awarded is not applicable to any formal academic degree program or leading to specialized certificate but is an acknowledgement of the participant’s commitment to professional growth and development as each participant will be receiving a number of CME/CPD per module to reflect each delegate’s attendance and effective participation.
