This innovative program aims to address the needs of dental practitioners at enhancing their knowledge and clinical skills in Laser’s Dentistry.
The program is developed in partnership with the American Board of Laser Surgery (ABLS).
This comprehensive program consists of 5 modules that include didactic components, group discussions/case studies, clinical simulations and clinical practice (on patients).
The program covers all aspects of laser dentistry in an interdisciplinary approach to allow participants to better understanding the use of dental lasers in a more efficient and comprehensive manner such as in Periodontics, Conservative Dentistry, Endodontics, Prosthodontics and Oral surgery.
Upon successful completion of the program, participants will be able to:

PLO2. Demonstrate proficiency and clinical skills in using dental lasers
PLO3. Formulate a sound treatment plan for using dental lasers

Participants will be required to perform two (02) clinical procedures on patients under supervision as per the below categories:

Participants will have a clinical practice session with a marking system to assess the outcomes of the program.

The program assessment shall comprise the clinical practice, the final assessment, the ABLS exam, and the clinical case presentations.
Upon the successfully completion of all the assessments & requirements of the Professional Diploma in Laser’s Aesthetic Dentistry and the ABLS exam, participants will be awarded the Diploma of the Professional Diploma in Laser’s Dentistry in addition to the Certificate of the American Board of Laser Surgery.

Upon successful completion of all program’s assessments and requirements, participants will be awarded the Diploma in Laser Dentistry by the Elite Academy / The Elite Healthcare Training Institute.
Note: It is important to note that the Professional Diploma in Laser Dentistry awarded is not applicable to any formal academic degree program or leading to specialized certificate but is an acknowledgement of the participant’s commitment to professional growth and development as each participant will be receiving a number of CME/CPD per module to reflect each delegate’s attendance and effective participation.
